Foundation Mexico 2013 has been one of the most intense experiences lived in my profession.I have gone to many wonderful and formative Workshop with great and dear masters but no one of them has touched me so profoundly.
Twelve Masters of documentary photography:

They and their excellent staff have given an human and photographic electro shock to twenty professional photographers from all over the world.
My mentors as doctors, have made a X-ray to us and them they have assigned a photographic mission.I had the challenge of documenting the Zenea’s garden life a beautiful and busy square.To do it I had a very limited photograph equipment so I thought I was going to war with a dessert knife.
My mentors have been Sergio and Citlali Rico and they are two great masters who are devoted to every one in any moment.They pushed and pushed where you didn’t want to be pushed,always whith understanding and tenderness and when you are on the point to fall down the precipice you are again pushed and you can discover you have wings and you can fly, like two eagles that push out the little chicken fron the nest with firmness and love.
They have taught me a different way of looking,breaking diagrams with patience,taken them with tenacity and transmit messages telling stories without having any influence on them but filling up with them,too.
We have been a great family and we all have shared togh and happy moments and like a family we have shared understood and sustained each other.There is something that always will be in my heart ,not only Sergio and Citlali my dear mates whom I admire so much but also Yolanda’s elegance and sweetness,Ben’s courage and resolution,Thiago’happyness and magnetisme,Manuel’s wisdom.I love them.
I don’t want to finish this story without remembering the wonderful Mexican people.I felt in love with them.I am going to tell you just two anecdotes from hundred of them they have happened to me.I was lying on the floor for more than ten minutes awaiting for the perfect moment,when a woman with her daughter come near to me and says: «oh dear,we think you have fallen down and nobody helps you». At that moment I would have embraced her.When I finished my Work I went to say good bye to Miguel «el bolero» (boots cleaners),my contact in the park and after saying him good bye he told me «sit down,I don’t want you go with your shoes dirty»…/…
I recommed everybody who loves photography till get up from chair to looking at an image,that if they have the opportunity and courage to live a»Foundation»,they must do it ,it’s a vital experience.
We have been asked to show just two images of our work that were presented To the judgement-exhibition and according their quality the applause.Everybody told through the images a shocking story with differents concepts,with overwhelming .All the Workshop were fantastic, wonderful.All the masters and their staff have been to help and support every one and making possible our aim.

Foundation Mexico 2013 ha sido una de las experiencias más intensas de me ha dado mi profesión. He asistido a muchos maravillosos y formativos Workshop con grandes y queridos maestros. Ninguno me afectado tanto profesional y humanamente.

Acompañados por un excelente STAF nos han dado a veinte fotógrafos profesionales de medio mundo un electro-shok fotográfico y humano.
Los mentores, cual doctor, nos han hecho una radiografía y asignado una misión fotográfica. Tuve el reto de documentar la vida del Jardín Zenea, una preciosa plaza muy activa y concurrida. Para realizar la asignación me limitaron el uso de equipo fotográfico de manera que tenía la sensación de ir a la guerra armado con un cuchillo de postre.
Mis mentores han sido Sergio y Citlali Rico son dos grandes maestros que se entregan por cada uno y en cada momento. Te empujan y te empujan, donde a veces no quieres ser empujado, acompañado de comprensión y afecto, cuando estás para caer en el precipicio te empujan de nuevo y así descubrir que tienes alas y puedes volar, como dos águilas que echan al polluelo del nido con firmeza y amor, así es la cosa.
Me han enseñado a ver de una manera diferente, rompiendo esquemas, con paciencia, capturando, con tesón y transmitir mensajes y contar historias si influir en ellas, llenándote de ellas.
Hemos formado una gran família y todos hemos compartido momentos duros y alegrias, como família nos hemos arropado, comprendido y compartido, todos unidos. Hay una parte que siempre estará en mi corazón, no solo Sergio y Citlali, mis queridos compañeros y que admiro: la dulzura y elegancia de Yolanda, el coraje y fortaleza de Ben, la alegria y magnetismo de Thiago y la constancia y prudencia de Manuel. Les quiero.
No quiero terminar este relato sin acordarme del maravilloso pueblo Mexicano, me enamoró. Cientos de anécdotas que resumiré en dos : Estaba tumbado en el suelo mas de diez minutos, esperando el momento perfecto, se acerca una señora con su hija «Ahi que pensábamos que se había caído y nadie le ayudaba…» La hubiera abrazado. Terminada mi asignación me fui a despedir de Miguel, el bolero ( limpia botas) que era mi «contacto» en el parque y tras despedirnos me dice «Siéntate que no quiero que vayas con los zapatos sucios…»…
Recomiendo a todos los que amen la fotografía tan intensamente como para levantarte de la silla por una imagen, si tienen oportunidad y coraje vivan un Foundation, es una experiencia vital.

Nos han pedido mostrar unicamente dos imágenes de nuestra asignación que se presentó a juicio-exibición y dada la calidad de los trabajos de todos los alumnos, al aplauso. Cada uno contamos en imágenes una impactante historia, con conceptos diferentes, con contundencia. Impresionante, magnifico el trabajo de todos. Todos los maestros y el staf se han entregado para ayudar y apoyar a cada compañero y hacer posible nuestro anhelo.
